Gardening Marci

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing my little summer project for Live and Love Crafts with you! The image here is Gardening Marci by La La Land Crafts and I have coloured her up using this month's August Online Colouring Class at Kit and Clowder to give her the background. I wanted to show how you can use the class to colour an image, and still make it up into a card!

I've used the new Summertime papers from Maja Designs with her.

Lots of little details on here... I thought the little apples would be the perfect touch - aren't they adorable? :)

Here is the colouring of Marci on the card.

Here is the full colouring project that we go through in the class, which you can find more details on here:

I hope you've enjoyed my project today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wedding Guest Book

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a special project with you all using a whole lot of goodies from Live and Love Crafts ^_^ I've created the guest book for our upcoming wedding by altering a journal and using a whole bunch of Mixed Media Techniques :) If you'd like to learn more about Mixed Media, don't forget we have a class covering all of the fundamentals over on our Online Class website here :)

I've used a bit of the beautiful Maja Designs papers in the middle there... doesn't it add a lovely touch! :) I've tried to pick up the pinks from the papers and add it to the embellishments using a Tim Holtz Distress Ink.

The letters were just cut out of cardboard and then I gesso'd them and then added a texture paste through a stencil. After they dried, I inked with the pink in parts, and painted gold around the edges. I've also applied frantage in random spots on the letters and the whole piece.

I hope you've enjoyed my project! You can find some of the products I used below :) Have a lovely day!

Tweetie Pie

Hi everyone! I'm popping in with my latest make for Live and Love Crafts :) I've again used the new Maja Designs papers - can't get enough of them! I have coloured up Tweetie Pie from The Greeting Farm using my Prismacolor Pencils :)

With the chipboard frame here, I dabbed it with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and then sprinkled Frantage on top. The Frantage is heated with an embossing gun so it melts in speckles.

If you've like to learn more about colouring with pencils, don't forget to pop over and visit our Online Colouring Classes here :)

I hope you've enjoyed my project! Thanks for stopping by!
